I'm Ä°pek, and I want to talk about the process where I, as a student, realized my potential for growth, learning, and professional development journey in Vanora's article this week. I am a fourth-year student majoring in Statistics at Marmara University. As is known, statistics is a science that can be integrated into almost every field and has a wide range of career opportunities. While I had hundreds of question marks in my mind about which field to focus on, my path crossed with Vanora. My journey of understanding myself and what I can do began with experienced individuals, and I started working in the company's marketing department with guidance planned according to my abilities.
Internships are generally seen as a step into the professional world; they serve as a bridge for students between classroom learning and practical application and offer companies the opportunity to benefit from fresh perspectives. The role of interns should never be about getting coffee or performing simple tasks. In this regard, I can say that at Vanora, I embarked on a transformative journey that shaped not only my career but also my perspective on the professional world. From my first day as a member of the team, I was integrated into real projects, teams, and responsibilities. I had the opportunity to work on live projects and interact with clients one-on-one. This real work experience accelerated my learning process and allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to practical scenarios.
In today's digital age, the worlds of statistics and marketing have become inseparable, with statistics playing a significant role behind every successful marketing campaign, every customer interaction, and every data-driven decision. Marketing has now become a rich blend of creativity and measurable data, especially for technology companies like Vanora. Therefore, what excited me the most in marketing plans was the use of statistical predictive analytics.
Creating strategies alongside ventures, observing development and transformation processes, and ultimately obtaining measurable results based on data have become the key to success for brands. This has also opened up opportunities for me to walk alongside entrepreneurs on different roadmaps.
